Known within serious aroid circles for sourcing distinctive and exceptional material, Mike’s plants have influenced several modern hybrid lines. His exceptionally large form of Anthurium ‘Circus Peanuts’, often referred to as ‘Mike’s Goliath,’ became particularly well known among collectors.

Mike maintains one of the most interesting private Anthurium collections we have encountered. We were fortunate to incorporate several of Mike’s plants and hybrids into our own breeding lines.

Many customers ask about the name “Mike’s Yard.” This refers to a series of plants Mike originally created and grew in his own yard. Earlier selections such as Mike’s Yard #1–#6 represent some of the foundational material from his collection we have circulated among growers.
