Shipping & Policies

Shipping Schedule

We ship live plants nationwide from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Orders ship every Monday through Wednesday. 
If Monday falls on a federal holiday, orders ship the following business day.

We ship early in the week to prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend.

Tracking information is automatically sent once your label is created.


Winter Shipping Protection

During colder months, qualifying plant orders are automatically upgraded to FedEx 2-Day service to reduce transit time and minimize cold exposure.

A complimentary heat pack is included when weather conditions warrant.

We closely monitor nationwide forecasts and may delay shipments if temperatures fall below our safe transit threshold (generally 26–27°F). Our priority is safe arrival — not rushed shipment.

Plant health always comes first.


Combining Orders

If you have placed multiple orders, we can combine them into one shipment.

Shipping is calculated per order at checkout. When combining shipments, pricing adjustments may occur. Customers are responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred. When possible, we will refund any shipping overages.

If you would like to combine shipping on multiple platforms (Shopify , Palmstreet, Etsy) This will have to be done manually and We need at least 48 hours' notice to guarantee a hold.

Contact us by Saturday for orders shipping the following Monday

 


Adding to an Existing Order

You may add plants to an existing order.

Please email: hello@niceplantsgoodpots.com

as soon as possible with your order number.

Adding items may cause processing delays.


Promotions & Discounts

Discounts and promotions may not be combined.

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to apply a coupon or promotion retroactively.

Discounts and coupons are not redeemable for cash or store credit.


Cancellation Policy

If you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, we can cancel and issue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.

After 24 hours, cancellations will be issued as store credit for the full purchase price.

All sales are otherwise final.


Order Holds

We can hold orders upon request. You must:

  • Leave a note at checkout

  • Contact us immediately during business hours

Without direct communication, we cannot guarantee a hold.

Please give our team at least 48hrs notice!!


Plant Condition & Shipping Stress

Live plants may experience normal shipping stress, including minor leaf damage, yellowing, wilting, or blemishes. These issues are common and typically recover with proper care.

If you believe your plant has experienced abnormal damage, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs and video of both the plant and packaging.

After 24 hours, there is limited action we can take.

We do not offer returns for cosmetic stress consistent with standard transit. If you need acclimation guidance, we are happy to share our experience.


Local Pickup

Local pickup is available by appointment only at our Arabi, Louisiana location.
