Anthurium Tim Anderson Stripey (A. Mag x Pap) x ( A. Ree Gardens Papillilaminum)  is a new Anthurium hybrid created by Nice Plants Good Pots in 2024 , be one of the first humans to grow these out!! .

This hybrid is an exciting cross between two rare, dark, long and Narrow  Anthuriums. These seedlings are already showing great characteristics from both parents

This cross will have long dark and narrow leaves with subtle Stripey silver veining from its mother.

The leaves will have a dark subvelvety appearance with a wider and short sinus.

The mother plant in this cross: The A. Stripey Mag x Pap is a Tim Anderson hybrid between his A. Stripey Magnificum x  A. Tim Anderson  Magnificum x Papillilaminum. This parent has incredibly dark and iridescent emergent leaves that fades to a dark and narrow leaf with bold and contrasting "Stripey" silver veins.

The pollen donor: The A. Papillilaminum " Ree Gardens" is a pure Anthurium Papillilaminum "Ree Gardens form".

The Ree Garden Papillilaminum is a long and dark form of Papillilaminum with a fairly wide sinus. Our plant is a clone from her original plant.

This plant was acquired directly from Mrs. Marie Knock, owner of Ree Gardens.

The Anthurium Papillilaminum, from Ree Gardens, is a species native to Panama and is recognized for its dark green elongated cordate (heart-shaped) leaves that grow on shorter petioles. This plant is terrestrial and its natural habitat is limited to the coastal areas of Colón and Darién Provinces in Panama, and found across the range up to an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. It belongs to the section Cardiolonchium of the Anthurium genus, which is characterized by its velvet-like leaves, although unlike its relative Anthurium crystallinum, it doesn't have silver veins on its leaves.
