6inch Anthurium Doc Block F2 x A. Hoffmannii

This Anthurium is cross between Anthurium Doc Block F2 and Anthurium Hoffmannii X (self clone).  This plant is showing a beautiful deep red emergent leaf into a dark green as it hardens off. This is a  unique hybrid that we were able to produce in our greenhouse last year and will sure be a welcomed addition to your collection.

This Plant is growing happily in a 6inch pot and is close to flowering size.

This selection is one of the most beautiful ones from this batch of seed.

We were going to use it for further breeding but have selected a few others.

This hybrid features amazing veining and texture on the leaves.

Anthurium Growing & Care

• these plants thrive in bright filtered light, but avoid direct sunlight.
• They appreciate nice humidity levels, but aren't too picky about humidity.
• This plant would do best in a semi-coarse potting mix and go roughly 2" dry on the top of the soil before watering.
• You should choose a well-drained, coarse, and slightly acidic potting soil rich in organic matter and plan to repot this fast-growing anthurium every two to three years.
• Cut off yellowing or browning leaves as they appear to keep the plant looking tidy and discourage pests.
