Philodendron Atabapoense is an unusual, unique & easy to grow indoor houseplant.

This philodendron has a very unique elongated leaf shape with a beautiful glaucous leaf color &  red abaxial underside. This plant will definitely be a  highlight in your collection. 

Philodendron Atabapoense was identified to science in 1975, Philodendron Atabapoense is found primarily in the Amazonia region of Brazil and the southern portion of Venezuela. Typically, the species is found at an elevation of approximately 100 meters (300 feet) above sea level.

 To care for a Philodendron Atabapoense: 

• Water it when the soil is dry
• Water it once a week from spring to autumn and about  once every ten days in winter 
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and make them curl and turn yellow
  
• Fertilize it once a month
  
• Use a balanced liquid or granular fertilizer to stimulate more lush plant growth
• Place plant  it in a spot with indirect sunlight
  
• Keep the temperature around 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit
  
• Use a nutritious potting mix with good drainage. A good chunky, aerated soil potting mixture helps with consistent growth. 
  
• Provide a moss pole or piece of wood to help the plant grow and mature.
