Anthurium Doc Block F2 Purple x A.Rotundatum X is a new Anthurium hybrid created by Nice Plants Good Pots in 2024 , be one of the first humans to grow these out!!
This is a really special hybrid between two unique plants. We made the reverse cross of this which was A. Rotundatum X crossed with Anthurium Doc Block Purple and the results were incredible, so we did it again but in reverse.
With these hybrids we expect long narrow leaves with distinctive silver veining and intensely colorful emergent leaves. As the plant matures the leaf color will intensify as well as the iridescent silver veining.
The mother plant in this cross: A. Doc Block F2 Purple Is from Doc Block's original release several years ago. This plant has a stunning dark purple emergent that fades to a dark almost black/charcoal leaf with prominent silver veining and textured round leaf shape.
The pollen donor is: Anthurium Rotundatum X is a beautiful hybrid from our friend and old school Aroider Mike in South Florida. This anthurium has a stunning bright pink emergent leaf and a distinctive wide sinus.
