3 Gallons – Nice Plants Chunky Anthurium & Aroid Soil Mix (Free Shipping)

Our soil is made by people that actually grow plants — for people that grow plants.

This chunky Anthurium and aroid potting mix is the same medium we use in our greenhouse for growing mature plants and collector specimens. It is designed to maximize airflow around the roots while still holding enough moisture to support healthy growth.

Each order includes two 1.5-gallon bags (3 gallons total) of our chunky soil mix with free shipping.

About the Mix

This chunky Anthurium and aroid soil mix is designed for growers who want a fast-draining medium that promotes strong root development and reduces the risk of overly wet conditions.

Compared to our seedling mix, this blend contains larger bark and coarse components, allowing more air movement through the pot and around the roots.

This mix is especially well suited for:

  • Mature Anthurium

  • Philodendron

  • Monstera

  • Other aroids grown in 4–8″ pots or larger

It works well for growers who prefer excellent drainage, strong root aeration, and frequent watering cycles.

Growing & Care for Rare Anthuriums

We recommend a coarse, airy substrate designed for epiphytic aroids. Our Anthurium soil blends are available separately and are formulated for root health and aeration.

Proper conditions will enhance velvet texture, venation clarity, and emergent coloration.
