Anthurium John Banta NOID x A. Tim Anderson Crystal Black is a new Anthurium hybrid created by Nice Plants Good Pots in 2024 , be one of the first humans to grow these out!!
This is an exciting hybrid between a dark green velvet anthurium from John Banta's private collection crossed with an anthurium from Tim Anderson, a dark and silver anthurium with a dark red emergent leaves.
This hybrid has an interesting elongated shield shaped leaf with an orange/ yellow emergent leaf in it's juvenile form. We expect this plant to change drastically as it matures & to have silver veining with vibrant emergent leaf colors.
The pollen donor is: Anthurium John Banta NOID a dark green shield shaped anthurium that came originally came from John Banta's Collection by way of Marie Knock founder of Ree Gardens.
The mother plant in this cross: Anthurium Tim Anderson Crystal Black is a cross between two Tim Anderson plants. (Anthurium Crystallinum x Anthurium Magnificum) and Anthurium Tim's Black. This plant produces beautiful dark foliage with discrete silver veining, a dark red emergent leaf and ruffled lead margins on the mature leaves.
