Anthurium Magnificum x Moronense  x (Tim Anderson Magnificum x Papillilaminum)    is a beautiful hybrid created by us in 2023.

These were selected and grown out to be some of our favorites from this seed batch. Leaf  shape is an extremely long and Narrow dagger shape.

Anthurium Magnificum x Moronense : The mother plant in this cross is:  an Anthurium Magnificum x Moronense which is a hybrid between a shield shaped leaf and Tri Lobe leaf.

This resulted in a beautiful wide sinus almost triangle shaped leaf with beautiful veining.

The pollen donor is:  Anthurium Tim Anderson Magnificum x Papillilaminum . This is a very special plant from the late Tim Anderson. It is a complex hybrid of Magnificum and Papillilaminum that has resulted in a long leafed plant that has a wide sinus with small ears, a red emergent and great raised veining

Anthurium Magnificum x Moronense  x (Tim Anderson Magnificum x Papillilaminum) Growing Tips and Care

  • Anthuriums thrive in bright filtered light, but we recommend avoiding direct sunlight.
  • They appreciate nice humidity levels, but aren't too picky about humidity.
  • These plants would do best in a semi-coarse potting mix and we recommend letting the (roughly top 2") of soil media  dry on the top of the soil before watering.
  • We recommend potting in a well-draining, coarse, and slightly acidic potting soil with rich in organic matter and  suggest repotting this fast-growing anthurium every two to three years.
  • We advise cutting off yellowing or browning leaves as they appear to keep the plant looking tidy and to discourage pests.

  • If you see salts crusting on the soil surface, it's time to flush the soil.
  • Run a gentle stream of water through it for a few minutes to get rid of excess fertilizer
  • If the leaves start to yellow, brown, or wilt, this may be a sign of overwatering or underwatering.
